This room also has a charming piano nook where the children practise often, so we wanted to make this a cosy little space from them, too. The fireplace now sings as the wallpaper makes this a feature wall, and we also solved the problem of an off-centre ceiling light by suspending several shades from hooks running the length of the table, which also succeeds in helping to create the wow factor when first walking into the space.
